Sign-ups
Short version: ask for an account at platypus.tickets/request-account and a real person sets you up.
Platypus doesn't have an instant "create your venue" button. That's deliberate. We're a small platform growing carefully with real venues, so a person looks at every request:
- Tell us about your venue. The request form asks for your name, your venue or organisation, an email address, your website if you have one, and anything you'd like us to know, plus a tick to accept the terms. No card details, no commitment.
- We review it. We check that there's a real venue or producer behind the request, usually within a couple of days. We might email you a question first.
- Your invitation arrives. If we're a good fit, we set up your account and email you a welcome invitation — a link that lets you choose your own password. The link lasts a week; if it expires, use Forgot password? on your venue's login page with the same email address and you're away.
From there everything is yours to drive: first login through first sale.
Your venue gets an address like platypus.tickets/t/your-venue/. We pick the short name with you during setup, so there's nothing to choose on the form.
Requested an account and heard nothing after a few days? Check your spam folder for the invitation first, then email support@platypus.tickets.
